A delicate silk chiffon scarf featuring oversized beach pebbles in soft, painterly shades of blush and rose pink.
The MondoMagna Pebble Pink design was created from studies of real pebbles collected and observed along the English coast. Their naturally irregular shapes, markings and delicate lines have been enlarged to create an unusual abstract pattern across the scarf.
Soft pink and rose pebbles float against a deep charcoal ground, framed by a finely drawn monochrome border. A narrow hot fuchsia hand-rolled hem provides one final flash of vivid colour.
Printed on lightweight 100% natural silk chiffon, the pale translucent colours become beautifully layered when the scarf is folded or tied. From a distance the design appears almost abstract; closer up, the individual markings and character of each pebble begin to emerge.
An understated but distinctive piece of wearable art, particularly lovely with charcoal, black, navy, cream or denim.
