Polka dots, sweeping curves and blocks of colour weave through the original drawings, transforming the traditional blue-and-white porcelain palette into something playful and distinctly modern.
Look closely and you'll find small numbered squares — 17, 18 and 19 — retained as part of the collage-like design, adding to its feeling of a museum collection playfully taken apart and reconstructed on silk.
