A dramatic pure silk scarf combining exuberant pink lilies with bold abstract marks, graphic pattern and splashes of black and white.
Soft, painterly lilies sweep across the design in vivid shades of pink and red, set against an energetic collage of geometric shapes, fluid line patterns and spontaneous paint-like splashes.
The contrast is what gives this scarf its character: romantic flowers meet something altogether more graphic and rebellious. Areas of intense pattern are interrupted by sweeping black and white marks, creating movement across the entire composition.
At 90cm square, the large-scale artwork changes dramatically when the scarf is folded and draped. Sometimes the flowers dominate; elsewhere, fragments of black, white, pink and pattern create an almost completely abstract effect.
Printed on pure silk and finished with a hand-rolled and hand-stitched hem.
