At the centre sits an elaborate porcelain figure, surrounded by urns, vessels and richly decorated ceramic fragments. Fine drawn lines are layered with washes of colour, polka dots and blocks of pattern, giving the design the feeling of a sketchbook, museum display and textile collage all at once.
Small numbered squares — inspired by museum collection labels — appear amongst the objects, becoming part of the pattern rather than simply identifying what is on display.
